Earlier today Cisco announced a bunch of new stuff in their Nexus product line. I won’t go into details as you can read about it in the link provided below. One funny note however is that the picture on the original page has changed. The original picture included what we all seem to believe is the new Nexus 7009. However in the press release from Cisco they never mentioned the Nexus 7009.
Seems they have now removed the Nexus 7009 from the press release photo and are using a new photo.
The press release can be found here: http://newsroom.cisco.com/dlls/2011/prod_033011.html

Another interesting tidbit learned from friends on Twitter today. A great method for testing faxes, or fax back. 1-888-HPFAXME, HP will send a return fax to the ANI it receives. Thanks @BlindHog
Heard about an easy to remember ANI readback number on Twitter today. Figured I would go ahead and document it. It’s toll free and from MCI, 1-800-444-4444
One of the coolest things happened over the weekend to me. Someone reached out to me to thank me for post I did on fixing the highlanders AC issue and he wanted to send me a donation! That was a very pleasant surprise. I love the fact that I did the post primarily because it has helped so many people and the comments are all just awesome. But I have to say that having someone go out of their way to reach out to me and want to send me a donation was just icing on the cake. Can’t say thanks enough.
Ok, I know I have only been into this hobby a couple of months but I’m getting a bit addicted.
I’ve already got my eye on my next radio!
Let me introduce you to the Icom IC-7000:
