I’ve never been good at journaling. It always felt unfinished, like writing without a reason to arrive anywhere.

Songwriting gave me that purpose. These songs are how I process things I don’t say out loud, how I accept what was, and how I keep the good parts intact. It’s therapy with an ending, something tangible, something real.

I use AI to help bring the music to life, not to replace the story. The words are mine. The memories are mine. If my daughters hear these someday and learn something about love, restraint, or gratitude that’s enough.
